Brominated Flame Retardants (BFRs)

Through our work, Maine became one of the first states to ban decaBDE in televisions, computers, mattresses, mattress pads and upholstered furniture in 2007. We worked with Congresswoman Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) to develop federal legislation to phase out the use of deca nationwide.
